Essay

Thesis is concerned with to the questions of the pathogenesis of acute viral hepatitis A and B in children. The results of testing 168 patients (120 with HAV and 48 ones with HBV) have been pre-sented. It was established, that during HV an acti-vation of the processes of free-radical lipid per-oxidation occur, as well as reduction of the func-tional activity of protective anti-radical systems of an organism (catalase, vitamins A, E) and disorder of morphometrical properties of erythrocytes. Manifestation of impairments was also estimated by the severity of diseases and did not depend on hepatitis etiology. It was revealed that combined changes of free-radical lipid peroxidation, protec-tive anti-radical systems and morphometric indices of erythrocytes are one of the causes of cytoly-sis development at HV. With the aim of these in-juries correction thiotriasoline preparation was used. Expediency of thiotriasoline inclusion into a complex therapy for mild severity of hepatitis A and B has been proved.
