Essay

Object of a research: placentae of the women, whose preg-nancy has become complicated by EPH-gestosis, maternal anemia and combination of both. The purpose of a research: the analysis of ultrastructural fea-tures of a placental barrier in cases of EPH-gestosis, maternal anemia and combination of both. Methods of a research and equipment: electronic-microscopic study of terminal villi of chorion, stereometric research of their structural components, statistical analysis of quantitative parameters; ultramicrotome UMTP-6, electronic microscope EMV-100BR. Theoretical and practical results: expand and deepen the existing submissions about ultrastructural architecture of a placental barrier according to norm and in cases of complicated EPH-gestosis, maternal anemia and combination of both. The obtained stereometric data can be used for morphometric method of diagnostics of early indications of placental insufficiency, substantiation of further obstetrics tactics of observation of the pregnant women. During the study of placenta there is a possibility to indicate the authentic pathological diagnosis, to assume the mechanism of pathogenic effect on a foetus, to reveal a group of risk of new-born children, and to discover the mechanisms of tanatogenesis in cases of mortal outcomes. Novelty: for the first time the quantitative analysis of structural elements of a placental barrier is conducted, the complex research of ultrastructural indications of its remodeling in cases of pregnancy complicated EPH-gestosis, maternal anemia and combination of both is represented. The stereometric parameters are determined which testify to ultrastructural mechanisms of damage and adaptation of a placental barrier in reply to hypoxia in a system mother-placenta-foetus in cases of EPH-gestosis, anemia and also their combination. Stages of use: the data obtained in the work can be used in teaching process at pathological anatomy departments and at the departments of obstetrics and gynaecology in the higher educa-tional establishment of medical type, and in practical work of pathological departments of the medical establishments. Sphere of use: medicine, pathologic anatomy.
