Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problems of increase of the level of fire protection of the mine workings in the deep mines. А new approach to development of fire-fighting sprinkling water supply and fire-fighting means is proposed in the work. It consists in complex investigation of the processes of their common operation, determination of independence's between the basic parameters and creation of the pressure regulator that combines them in the united system to guarantee fighting the underground fires in the mine workings of the deep mines. The pressure regulators of the new generation with the gate having dynamic and standing balance are created. Mechnism of their arrangement in the vertical and inclined pipe-lines is ascertained. Condition of the uncavitated work of the pressure regulators in the mine water supply systems is substantiated. The normative water consumptions for fighting and localization of the underground fires depending on degree of its dispersion, fire load of the mine working are substantiated. The basic results of the work are used be development of а number of branch normative documents, by creation of the pressure reducing valves that are widely used in the mines of the Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.
