Essay

In this study, new ZrO2- based oxide and zeolite catalysts for the process of NO selective reduction by light hydrocarbons C1-C4 have been received. By TPDA and IR-spectroscopy systematic study of these catalysts catalytic and acidic properties we have revealed the dominating role of their bifunctional nature in the process under research. The active based on ZrO2- zeolite binary systems catalysts for SCR-process have been synthesized, and inadditivity of their catalytic properties depending on a support composition has been shown to be evidence of a feasible catalyst components interaction with formation of new active centers. TPDA and IR-spectroscopy studies show that the most active MexOy/ZrO2 catalysts are characterized by presence of the strong acidic Bronsted centers.
