Essay

The thesis is devoted to study catalytic properties of heterogenized on silica surface metal complexes of Pt and Pd with acetylacetone and N-allyl-N'-propyl-thiourea in a gas phase oxidation of Н2 and СО. It has been shown that at conditions of catalytic reactions acetylacetonates does not decomposed, while N-allyl-N'-propyl-thiourea complexes possessed high catalytic activity after partial ligand destruction only. It was determined that catalytic activity for grafted metal-complexes is greater than that one for traditional supported platinum and palladium catalysts with the same metal content. The kinetic regularities and the mechanism of Н2 and СО oxidation reations on the heterogenized metal complexses has been studied. It is proposed detailed catalytic action mechanism, which describes well all array of the experimental data in the view on constitution active centers of grafted complexes and their interaction with reagents. It has been offered to elaborate new high-active catalysts for hydrogen andcarbon monoxide oxidation on the base of heterogenized Pt(Pd) complexes.
