The work is devoted to methods substantiation, to working out algorithms and means of automatic vibration-acoustic control for the workings and roadways steadiness taking into account the laws of oscillation and wave processes emergence in the system "support-rock mass" as well as in block and flat-parallel rock structures. New conception of operative control automation has been offered, computer modeling has been performed and the pro-grams of automatic statistic and spectral processing of the initial technological data have been developed with the help of microcon-trollers and personal computers. Experimental specimens of auto-mated control means have been designed to provide control of the rock mass steadiness thanks to which it turns possible to carry out nature investigations under the conditions when rock mass contains sediments and ground.
