Essay

The degree of biological maturity in infants and toddlers of Chernivtsi region was investigated. Based on conducted researches of 480 healthy children from 1 to 36 months, the algorythm of biological maturity screening estimation was created, the risk factors were indicated and the new methodology of biological maturity estimation, based of two authors methods was created. The algorythm of biological maturity screening estimation consists of hip ultrasonogaphy for children from 1 to 6 months, dental maturity estimation for children from 6 to 24 months, wrist ultrasonography for chidlren from 24 to 36 months, comparision with regional data and risk factors estimation. The cryteria of inclusion in the risk group is data out of 10-90% interval of regional standard or presense one or more risk factors.
