Essay

The thesis deals with the structure of polytrauma, diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients with polytrauma and improved diagnosis and treatment of the condition in the above patient group. Clinical data are based on the observations, diagnosis and treatment of 137 elderly patients with polytrauma. An approach has been developed and implemented for diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients with polytrauma which allowed to reduce mortality in the above group of pa-tients from 24,58% to 20,51% in the Polytrauma Center of the Ukrainian SPC EMC and MC.
