In the Ph.D. thesis the problem of development of process control system for ceramic brick firing in the tunnel kiln is considered.The problem of optimal process control was set:optimality criterion was choosen,restrictions were formulated.The method of defining the optimal temperature field for the half-finished product with given properties were offered. The mathematical models for bricks' properties forecasting were created. Designed control system determinates and stabilizies the optimal temperature field, forecast the product quality and avoid of emergency situation.
