Object - Squirrel Cage induction motors up to 10 kW; subject - the reliability of inter-turn insulation relate to commutative effects; purpose - to specify failure effects and to develop calculation technique; experiments - statistical analysis and probability modeling; novelty - hypothesis about three criteria of turn insulation failures is advanced here and experimental proof is given. Mathematical model was developed to calculate the non-failure service probability of inter-turn insulation; results - method to calculate the probability of non-failure operation was defined; field of application - electrical machines.
