Essay

The complex task has been solved to determine conditions of the "magnesium + sodium nitrate" type metallized condensed pyrotechnic mixtures persistent burning at increased temperature and pressure, opposite air stream and rotation. The complex consisting of two laboratory-testing systems has been created and appropriate techniques for conducting investigations of the pyrotechnic mixtures burning process have been developed. The mathematical model of the nitrate-magnesium mixtures burning process under static conditions has been worked out. The bank of data concerning burning processes in and fire-hazardous properties of nitrate-magnesium mixtures have been worked out. The main criteria have been formulated for determination of fire protection means and measures for objects where pyrotechnic goods based on nitrate-magnesium mixtures are available.
