Essay

Subject of inquiry: the process of perennial grass productivity and feeding value formation in single-crop grass stands and uneven ripening grass mixtures depending on the different agrotechnical factors. Purpose of investigation: to reveal the details of uneven ripening alfalfa-grass mixture growth, development and productivity formation depending on the combination of the different agrotechnical factors and to devise the effective methods of the prolongation of productive longevity of grass stands in the green and raw-material conveyor system. The methods are generally scientific and special. Theoretical and practical results: the advisability and possibility of the prolongation of productive longevity of uneven ripening mixtures are proved; the details of growth and development of components and productivity formation of agrocenoses of the prolonged use depending on the combination of the different agrotechnical factors are established; the effect of regimes of grass stands use and their fertilization on botanical composition, the density and height of grass stands, their productivity, biochemical composition; the state of microbial cenosis of the dark gray podzolized soil are determined; the agroecological assessment of grass growing depending on fertilization, liming and regimes of grass stand use is given. Practical importance of findings consists in the development of recommendations on the prolongation of productive longevity of uneven ripening stands in the green and raw-material conveyor system which allow to extend the productive period up to six years of the use and to get the yield at a level of 70-82 hkg/ha of dry matter, 63-76 GJ of metabolizable energy. The degree of introduction: in 2001-2002 in the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky district of the Kyiv region the production examination and introduction of findings are conducted at the private rent enterprise "Prystromy" and the peasant farmstead "Rozdobudko M.I." over an area 210 ha. The field of application is the production practice.
