The object is economic activity of food industry enterprises; the aim to work out theoretical and methodical provision of marketing analysis of Ukraine's enterprises for grounding of approaches to formation of their competitive positions; methods - factor analysis, correlation and function-cost analysis, expert evaluation, system analysis and management theory; the novelty - the methods of marketing analysis were adapted to native conditions, the interrelation between competitive advantages and competitive positions of enterprises; the results - the practical recommendation concerning application methods of marketing analysis were worked out; the field - improvement of methods of marketing analysis of the branch development.
