Research subjects: processes of morphogenesis and biosynthesis of essential oil at aromatic plants. Research objectives: to reveal morphs-biological features and economic-valuable attributes Dracocephalum moldavica for a rating of an opportunity of introduction in industrial culture. Methods: field, morphological analysis, laboratory, settlement, comparative, mathematics-statistical, etc. Theoretical and practical results: the opportunity of cultivation Dracocephalum moldavica in the Kherson region is experimentally proved. The basic economic-valuable parameters of culture in new conditions of cultivation are determined. Are selected high productive forms of plant. Are developed and tested the basic receptions of cultivation. The scientific - methodical recommendations for cultivation Dracocephalum moldavica in conditions of the Kherson region are developed. Novelty of introduced: for the first time are investigated morphogenesis, rhythms of growth and development, biology of flowering and seed efficiency Dracocephalum moldavica in conditions of the Kherson region. The scales of biochemical researches of the given culture are extended. Dynamics of accumulation of the basic components of essential oil in ontogenesis for the first time is established and the data on the quantitative contents of essential oils in bodies of a plant are received. The detailed analysis terpenoid structure of essential oil not only on phases of development of plants is carried spent, but also depending on time of day. 3 perspective forms for the further selection are allocated. Implementation degree: results of thesis work are included in lecture and practical rates of "Medicinal plants" and "Botany" at the Kherson state university. The received new forms are handed for the further tests to a botanical garden KSU and in genetic bank of Nikitsky botanical garden. Effectiveness: the scientific bases of the technology of cultivation Dracocephalum moldavica in conditions of the Kherson region are developed, that on allow to intencify the cultivation of these plant.
