Essay

On the basis of 107 total hip arhtroplasty results in 84 patients with rheumatoid arthritis clinical and roentgenologic, and immunologic and biomechanic investigations including osteodensitometry have been carried out. Moreover the technique of total hip arthroplasty was improved, indications and counterindications concerned this surgeri were developed and improved as well. Complex including pre-operational and postoperative treatment was developed. All these above - stated factors promoted results improving as immediate total hip arthroplasty as well as complex treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
