Essay

Dissertation is devoted to designing of methodology for determination of neutron flux functionals on surveillance specimens in WWER-1000 reactor. Neutron transport calculation methods in complicated environments is developed in the work. For middle parts of surveillance specimens of 2L set that were irradiated in WWER-1000 reactor of South-Ukraine NPP Unit 3 the neutron fluences above 0,5 MeV are obtained. Experimental examination of obtained results is performed. Presence of essential neutron flux gradients along the perimeter and height of container assemblies is shown. The complex comparison of irradiation conditions of surveillance specimens in WWER-1000 reactor, pressure vessel metal specimens in baffle channels and inner pressure vessel surface is performed. It is concluded that the designed methodology is suitable for determination of neutron flux functionals on surveillance specimens.
