Shutak O. The folkloristic studies in Halychyna in 1920s-1930s (K.Sosenko, F.Kolessa and I.Svientsitskyi).

The thesis is the first attempt in the Ukrainian folkloristic science to research the folkloristic studies in 1920s-1930s in analyses Halychyna, the prominent scholars of the time being K.Sosenko, F.Kolessa and I.Svientsitskyi. There is noted the high level in the of the Ukrainian folklore by the Western Ukrainian's scientists, which based in their investigations not only on the achievements of the Ukrainian folkloristics, but used the experience of the scientific view of the Western Europe. Special attention is paid on the methodology of the folkloristic studies of K.Sosenko, F.Kolessa and I.Svientsitskyi, their belonging to the Ukrainian and foreign school in the folkloristic science.
