Object of research: skin and synovial lining of joints in 60 persons, which suffered from psoriasis at life and died suddenly of different reasons. The purpose and methods of research: by using histochemical, immunohistochemical, morphometrical and statistical methods to determine character of structural changes in synovial lining at latent psoriatic arthritis and to define their role in a morphogenesis of psoriasis. Novelty: At the first time the classification of structural pathology of joints at latent course of psoriatic arthritis at different forms of psoriasis was created, identity of changes in small vessels of skin and synovial lining was proved. Theoretical results: it is proved that at in all clinical-anatomic forms of psoriasis the latent arthritis develops, which morphological substrate is villous hyperplastic synovitis of different degree of expressiveness and activity. Practical value: the results of research can be utilized at morphological diagnostics of biopsy and sectional material inpathology department of hospitals, at diagnostics and treatment of psoriatic patients, and also at development of new methods of pathogenetic therapy of psoriasis. Subject and degree of application: the items of information concerning morphological changes in synovial lining are applied in diagnostic process in Institute of urgent and reparative surgery of AMS of Ukraine (c. Donetsk), and also in the pedagogical process on dermatology and venereology faculty and dermatovenerology faculty of doctors advanced training department of Donetsk state medical university. Efficiency of application: improvement of quality of differential morphological diagnostics of biopsies and sectional material, teaching of some items of information about latent psoriatic arthritis during training the students and doctors. Sphere of usage: pathology departments, research institutes of dermatology and venereology, dermatovenereological and rheumatological clinics.
