The dissertation dwells upon the development of economic and mathematical toolkit for solving specific problems of insurance companies functioning under conditions of the developing market. In the work the complex analysis of Ukrainian insurance companies has been carried out, economic-mathematical models are constructed to support the adoption of optimum management decisions concerning price policies of the insurer, formation of an insurance portfolio structure, choice of insurance, reinsurance and investment strategies of insurer.
