Essay

Converter systems with near unity power factor (CUPF), based on compensated controlled rectifier (CCR) and active power filter (APF). Investigations of the electromagnetic processes and working characteristics CUPF based on CCR. Method of the resulting vector and Clark transformations, theory of instant reactive power, computer simulation. Characteristics of CUPF based on CCR were investigated, the control system realizing all modes of operations of CUPF was developed. The authenticity of the work is proved by experiments. The results have been implemented in industry.
