Essay

Is shown, that some of basic parameters of casing pipes. which are responsible for operation reliability of casing string are ovality. eccentricity and absence of defects of entirety failure of metal. These parameters can be defined by methods of non-destructive testing. Was designed a methods and established analytical dependences of definition of ovality and eccentricity by the results of acoustic testing of casing pipes. Methods of defectometry at determination of defect's geometrical dimensions in a case of results of acoustic testing have further development. The set of equations for definition of optimal parameters of the automatic testing of casing pipes quality by a ultrasonic method is obtained. Was designed a complex of technical means and technology which allow to make a automatic entrance testing of casing pipes quality
