Essay

The features of interaction between drops of fine-sprayed aqueous fire extinguishing substances distributed in volume of closed space and gas - air medium have been discovered. Using mathematical models having been worked out and computer programs proposed for their digital solution the conditions of effective spraying of aqueous fire extinguishing substances in closed premises of ships have been calcu-lated and confirmed by experiment the conditions for effective extin-guishing of fires in such premises. The necessary conditions chemical composition and delivery parameters of fine sprayed aqueous fire ex-tinguishing substances have been determined for execution of fire pro-tection systems and also the method for filling of free space of closed ship premise by drops of sprayed aqueous fire extinguishing substance with blocks of special centrifugal jets.
