Essay

The solutions of a scientific problem concerning advancing methods of an assessment of a fire hazard of heating electrical devices are adduced, theoretically is reasonable and experimentally influencing the factors, conditions and yardsticks on certainty of results of tests is reconfirmed, which one are entered into national normative base in an orb of flammability control. The test methods of cables and wires on a flame spread are perfected, which one stipulate new yardsticks of an assessment of a fire hazard of these items. The dependences of maximum temperatures of heating of the constituents of heating electrical devices equipped with thermal devices of protection, from power supply voltage and temperature of ambient medium are defined. The method of definition of probability of rise of a fire from heating electrical devices with allowance for of principles of an assessment of a fire hazard is perfected.
