Subject of inquiry - transformation process and regularities of the yield formation of natural and sown hay meadow mixed stands in the mountainous zone of the Carpathians depending on the action of local ameliorants and fertilizers. The purpose of investigation - the establishment of details of the formation of high-productive hay meadow mixed stands of mowing use depending on the action of local ameliorants and fertilizers with the purpose of the improvement of native forage lands and soil fertility of the mountainous and forest belt of the Carpathians. The research methods are field, laboratory, mathematical and statistical, economic and mathematical. The expediency of using limestones, dolomites and phosphorites from local agroore-field and the Carpathian region is scientifically grounded, the details of the growth and development of plants,the regularities of native and sown hay meadow mixed stands formation, their productivity, biochemical composition of fodder, agrophysical and agrochemical indices of soil fertility are revealed. The technology of the improvement of meadow lands of the mountainous and forest belt of the Carpathians by means of the application in optimal doses and rational combination of local ameliorants and manure is perfected. The author's developments are introduced at the farms of the Volovetskyi district of the Transcarpathian region over a total area about 100 ha what secures the first cost of 1 hkg of the hay yield increase Hr 9-24 with operating profit Hr 92-247 per hectare. The field of application - the meadow forage production.
