The object of the researches are the excitation process of photoluminescence of ions Mn2 + in different crystalline fields in ZnS crystals. The aim of researches is the to establish of regularity of influence of excitation process of a photoluminescence of manganese centers in ZnS crystals in case of influence of external factors such as the temperature of experiment, plastic deformation, change of a wavelength of exciting light. Method of testings: optical researches, spectroscopy, luminescense. The results obtained at the first time. The model of resonant exitation of manganese centers in ZnS crystals is offered. It is shown experimentally, that the optical behaviour of ZnS:Mn crystals at a temperature variation is determined with influencing of optical and resonant excitation process of manganese centers. The increase of intensity of photoluminescence and shift of a maximum position of a photoluminescence integral spectrum on begining stages of plastic deformation is established. The information on modify structure of manganese centers of photoluminescence and their local symmetry in crystals ZnS:Mn is obtained during plastic deformation
