Chychyrko O. Chronic osteomyelitis of long bones in children and аdolescents.

The dissertation is devoted to the topical problem of the treatment optimization and results improvement of children and adolescents who suffer from chronic osteomyelitis. The work is the first one in Ukraine where on the large clinical material were investigated questions of peculiarities of osseous-purulent infection course and treatment of patients with chronic osteomyelitis. The clinico-roentgenologic, microbiologic and immunologic peculiarities of chronic posttraumatic and haematogenous osteomyelitis in children and adolescents were founded. It was determinated the relationsheep between forms, sites of osteomyelitis and microbiological agents. The complex system treatment has been elaborated; the principles of immunotherapy of these patients have been worked out. The necessity of individual tactics of bone plastic elimination of bone defects in this patients is proved. The relapse of inflammatory was observed at 2,1 % patient.
