Essay

The principles and processes of remote sensing (RS) image forming by different systems of image registration, directions of RS data interpretation. The research, design and practical realization of methods for effective information-preserving removal in aerospace RS images the compact impulse bursts (CIB), suppression of fluctuative noise by taking into account the correlation of RS multichannel image (MCI) components and providing the desired computational efficiency of these methods as well. Research methods: methods of general probability theory and robust estimation, spectral-correlation analysis, mathematical morphology, supervised learning. Designed and approved: the methods of reliable CIB removal providing the uncorrupted information preserving, the method of effective suppression of multiplicative noise providing the preserving information about object edges and texture, the method of detail preserving vector filtering of MCIs which channels have principally different noise characteristics, the procedure of multistage processing of RS MCI, the more fast algorithms of: component filtering, sorting for filtering tasks. The research results are implemented in algorithms and software that are used in manufacturing application in set of branch organizations. Sphere of application: RS data processing.
