Essay

Object of investigation: power supply system consisting of renewable energy sources, accumulators, converters and loads. Aim: development of electrical energy converters control algorithms. Methods: dynamic programming, fuzzy logic, mathematical and physical simulation, theory of electrical circuits. Principal results: joint application of dynamic programming and fuzzy logic for the control of semiconductor converters has been proposed. Dynamic programming based optimal control method has been developed that enables to reduce energy consumption during transient when changing the operating mode of a load. New control system based on fuzzy logic has been developed for extracting maximum energy from photovoltaic battery.
