Essay

The dissertation is devoted to experimental and theoretical research of convective heat exchange during the fast cooling of reinforcing rolled metal in conditions of rolling mills. With the purpose of realization of account-theoretical researches, the mathemati-cal model of process of the fast cooling and thermal strengthening of reinforcing rolled metal is developed. By processing of experimental data the meanings of heat transfer coefficients are determined which take place at water cooling of hot reinforcing rolled metal in cooling chambers. The hydrodynamical account of installation of the fast cooling of reinforcing rolled metal is executed with the purpose of definition of a structure of speed of a flow of cooling water and value of hydraulic resistance in the ring channel with a mobile internal surface. In result, as against the known analytical decision, the structure of speed is determined on all length of installation, including a site of hydrodynamical stabilization. For the first time, bythe joint decision of the differential equations of convention heat exchange, without use of empirical dependence, the temperature fields of reinforcing rolled metal and cooling water are calculated at their joint movement in cooling chamber.
