Essay

The object of investigation: the amino acids metabolism and protein synthesis in carp tissues under the action of the increased concentrations of heavy metalsions in water. The aim of investigations: the establishment of glycine, alanine, leucine contribution in the protein synthesis in tissues of carp, and the changes of the proteins content and their fractions in the blood serum under the carp adaptation to heavy metals. The methods: spectrofotometry, radioizotopy, chromatography, electrophoresis. The results: the changes in the proteins of blood in carp under the influence of heavy metals were investigated. For the first time the quantitative contribution of glycine, alanine and leucine in the new synthesized proteins under the іntoxication of heavy metals was estimated. The sphere of using: the estimation of toxicity of water environment for fishes, the qualitative indices of fish production, the clarification of maximal possible concentrations of heavy metals in the water.
