Pokotilo O. The beginning of opposition movement for social and political transformation and the Germany Unification (1989- 1990 ss.).

Dissertation is the complex study of the civic movement's development in GDR in 1989-1990. Author (applicant) has elucidated origins and prehistory of the opposite civic movements in GDR in 1950-1970. The opposition development of in 80 ties was traced, as well as forms, methods, nature of the opposition protest and correlation of opposite forces and church. The questions, associated with civic movements beginnings (''New Forum'', ''Democracy Now'', etc.), their basic demands, role and results of their activity during the period of revolution progress in 1989 in Eastern Germany were examined. Applicant (Author) has observed the participation of civic movements and organizations in the Round Table activities, its influence on the progress of winter events and results of the election in 18 th of March, 1990. Issues, related to ''old'' party system reorganization, organization of new parties, election coalitions and alliances, civic movements place and role while the election process in March 1990 were elucidated. The participation and impact of civic organizations on the internal aspects of Germany unification was observed.
