As a result of research for the first time abnormalities of mucous secretion in connection with verified pathomorphologic changes in the gastric and duodenal mucosa Chornobyl accident liquidators were specified. The prognostic value of mucous secretion malfunction was argued and information concerning pathogenesis and morphogenesis of neoplastic transformations of gastric and duodenal epithelium in this contingent patients was extended. Some methodological approaches to verification pathological changes in organs of gastrointestinal tract, induced by man-caused contamination, were elaborated.
