Investigation objects: liquid crystalline systems contaning nematic solvents and chiral dopants, derivatives of S-1-phenyl-, S-1-benzylethylamines and also of (+)-isomenthone. Purpose: to establish regularities of changes in the temperature dependences of the induced helical pitch for some "nematic - chiral dopant" systems with the varied molecular structure of chiral components and the macroscopic properties of nematic solvents. Methods: polarazing microscopy, selective light reflection spectroscopy, differential scaning calorimetry, quantum-chemical methods of modeling. Molecular structure peculiarities of chiral dopants determined the type and quantitative parameters of the temperature dependence of the induced helical pitch were revealed. Degree of application: LC systems with the independent of temperature selective light reflection in the visible spectral range were obtained.
