Essay

The dissertation is devoted to examination by computer methods of percolation processes of heterogeneous systems described by presence of a dimensional and time correlation. A new associative growth model for a wide class of correlated percolation problems on bond and site lattices is proposed. The different regimes of clusters growth were analyzed and behaviour of the percolation threshold was studied. The electrical breakage in the lattice resistor models with resealing basic elements was studied. Such systems demonstrate the existence of periodical damage-recovering processes. The damage kinetic for thixotropic bonds was studied and a self-organization texture established. It predetermines the anomalous structural viscosity of concentrated suspension colloids. The results of computational studies were compared with the rheological experiment for the thixotropic water suspensions of kaolinite clays. The results of this thesis are important in the fields of physics of colloidal and molecular systems and can be used for elucidation of mechanisms of electrical and mechanical damage, processes of correlated percolation, and processes of structure formation in concentrated colloidal systems.
