Davidov V. Automation of technological process registration of numbers at management of transport streams

The dissertation is devoted to a question of automation technological process of registration vehicles numbers. For automation of the given technological process by the organization of video observation for a transport stream it is necessary to solve first of all problems of searching on the image of the text information (license plate), preliminary processing (improvement of image quality and segmentation) and recognition. During the investigation of the given problems a number of new algorithms allowing to carry out more noiseproof processing images has been synthesized. Recognition quality criteria of an estimation recognition quality is offered for comparison of various identification systems. The technique of their calculation is developed. Recognition quality of the developed prototype of the automated system investigat by the method of imitating modelling. The conclusion about its use expediency for automation of technological process of vehicles registration is made.
