Yanakaev V. Сalculation of the aerodynamic characteristics and of efficiency of wings with padding bearing surfaces.

Object of researches are the padding bearing surfaces (PBS), boosting aerodynamic efficiency of flight vehicles (FV). The upgraded method of discrete vortexes is used. The technique of calculation of aerodynamic properties of wings with PBS is developed for small Mach numbers and attached flow distinguished by a split-hair accuracy at a small time of calculation. The improved effectiveness criterions PBS are offered. The effect of the geometrical characteristics of wings with PBS, angles of attack and slip on effectiveness criterions is investigated. The effect PBS on lateral stability and controllability of FV is determined. The guidelines for usage PBS are developed.
