Essay

Object of investigation: the system that includes matrix converter and induction machine. Aim: elaboration of closed loop systems including matrix converters with extended precision of specified induction machine parameters maintenance under the action of external disturbances. Methods: method of space vectors, mathematical simulation, theory of electrical circuits. Principal results: the models of invariant systems "matrix converter - induction machine" have been developed by means of a geometric approach, as a result of this the number of feedback channels has been increased, extending possibilities of such systems' regulation, and, therefore, the precision of specified induction machine parameters maintenance has been rised. For the first time invariance condtitions in the system with an induction machine has been obtained owing to combined implementation of a principle of invariance and a geometric approach. The algorithm of control of matrix converter in closed loop system with an induction machine has been developed, which provides elimination of the input current harmonic content.
