Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of spatial Stokes problems of steady flow of vis-cous fluid over a rectangular plate and systems of rectangular plates at small Reynolds numbers. Based on the theory of hydrodynamic potentials and the method of superposition nu-merical and analytical technique which takes into account particular features of the flow behavior near boundary is suggested and realized. Results obtained are applied to analyse the major features of the flow. Streamlines, vorticity lines, isobars are calculated depending on boundary conditions and geometry of problems. The formulas are derived for determining drag force on obstacles.
