Influence of thermal processing on thickness, structure, properties and mechanical characteristics diffusion coatings is shown on the basis of the titan, vanadium and chromium on carbon steel. It is established, that mechanical characteristics of coatingы are defined by structure, structure of coatings and change on thickness of coating. The interrelation of parameters of wear resistance is established at different kinds of wear process of coatings with mechanical characteristics of materials of coatings.
