Essay

Object of investigations: binary fluid mixtures in the vicinity of phase transition points. Aims: investigation of the non-universal critical characteristics of a binary symmetrical mixture. Methods:collective variables method with a reference system. Results: explicit expressions for the thermodynamic functions of a binary symmetrical mixture are obtained in the vicinity of the gas-liquid critical point. Results of the work may be used for the interpretation of experimental data on non-universal critical characteristic investigations of binary fluid mixtures.
