Essay

The mathematical model for diffusion combustion of hydrocarbon liquids at the gaseous medium pressure from atmospheric to 13.3 kPa has been developed and verified by experiment. Dependencies of heat-evolution intensity and fire duration in case of hydrocarbon liquid combustion on the value of gaseous medium pressure reduction have been determined. The method for reducing the intensity of fires within hermetic ship premises by vacuumization with technique of energetic installation, as well as technical solutions which provide escape of the crew from premise of fire origin and reducing the endurance of smoke removal on completion of fire have been proposed
