Makarov V. Medical rehabilitation of the patients with chronic fractures and dislocation-fractures of distal department of forearm

Object of research - patients with chronic damages of distal forearm. The purpose - to improve results of medical rehabilitation of the patients with chronic damages of distal forearm by development new and improvement of existing methods of treatment of the given pathology. Methods - clinical, X-ray, biomechanical, statistical. The new quality criteria of medical rehabilitation of the patients are developed depending of clinical and X-ray consequences of distal forearm traumas, which generalize the basic anatomic and functional infringements and allow determining treatment quality more objectively. The different typical individual programs of rehabilitation for the patients with chronic distal forearm damage are developed directed on maximum early restoration or indemnification of lost forearm functions. The first time on the basis of biomechanical researches experimentally and mathematically the concept external osteosynthesis of chronic distal forearm damage with realization of cores under a corner120° is proved at twice planes of a configuration of the device of external fixing with use of a new type of cores. The treatment ways of chronic distal forearm damage are advanced which permit to ensure early mobilization wrist joint with simultaneous increase of primary stability of fixing of bones fragments. The offered methods of treatment are introduced into practice of rehabilitation department of the patients and invalids with consequences of traumas and skeleton diseases of Ukrainian state research institute of medical and social problems of physical inability, orthopedic clinic of Regional clinical hospital by I.Mechnikov, Dnepropetrovsk, in educational process of orthopedic department of the Dnepropetrovsk state medical academy, Ukraine.
