Essay

The key physical and chemical features of deep oxidation of gaseous hydrocarbons under opposite reagents delivery to catalyst were established. For the purpose of increasing activity, modification was made of catalysts based on Co, Cr, Fe, Cu oxides by additions Sr, Al, Pd. The specific features of the mechanism of deactivation of oxide catalysts were established. Turbulent diffuson was shown to be the basic mechanism of air penetration to catalyst layer. The basic ways for control of hydrocarbons oxidation process in catalytic heat sources were established.
