Essay

The results of experimental studies of structure and electric and physical properties of the nanostructured systems (metal - metal type multilayered composite materials, composite materials containing dielectric polymer matrix and nanocrystalline conductive filler and composite gas-thermal coatings) are presented. The influence of the production procedure, composition, degree of deformation and regimes of thermal treatment on the structure and electric and physical properties of the investigated samples has been studied. The regularities of the variation of electric resistivity and thermopower have been revealed under high (> 90 %) relative deformation by cold rolling, heating and after annealing of the layered systems. Besides, the influence of the size factor (nanoscale) on the non-additive behaviour of the investigated properties of composite materials with respect to those for the source constituents has been analysed. The equations for parameters simulation have been proposed for polymer - nanocrystalline filler percolation composite systems.
