Essay

Dissertational work is devoted to research of the photoluminescence nature, absorption and reflection spectra, and photoconductivity of the organic crystals and films which consist from heterocyclic derivatives of the carbazole, acridone, indole or phenotiasine molecules. The time dependence investigation methods of the fluorescence intensity with using of the stroboscopic registration system have been used. For the first time the two-photon-excited photoluminescence in the seen area of spectrum of the crystals and films of the noted substances at the infra-red laser excitation (?ex = 1064 nm) has been observed. It is shown, that the temperature dependence of the fluorescence time fading of the crystals caused by the thermal dissociation of the singlet charge transfer excitons. The activation energy of exciton dissociation makes ~ 0,02 ev. It is established, that the two-photon-excited photoluminescence of the 3,4,4-tricianobutadienecarbazole crystals and films connected with the intramolecular charge transfer transitions mainly from the hydrogen atom (H) of carbazole molecule to nitrogen (N) and carbon atoms (C) of cianogroup and with transitions from the exciton states with intermolecular charge transfer between the two neighbored connecting molecular chains.
