Letuchy D. Methods and means for deductive databases organization

The questions of the creation of the technology of expert systems on the basis of deductive databases (DDB) which is oriented on the decision of intellectual data analysis problems in DSS have been examined. The concept of deductive database systems as means to decide badly formulated problems in modern technology of informational decision support systems has been developed. The set of logic-predicative models which have new, essential for describing decision problems constructions, has been developed. Methods of structural and semantic analysis have been improved. Seminaive calculation method has been modified to work with original logic-predicative models; it uses proposed principle of minimality of iterative calculations and is based on the developed translation scheme which represents DDB program into the system of SQL sentences. Principles of the organization of DDB systems have been proposed
