Investigations were carried out in the Sevastopol Bay since 1976 till nowadays.. Annual cycles of observations on mesozooplankton of the Sevastopol Bay in 1976 - 2002 were analyzed. The most abrupt and significant changes of mesozooplankton community and copepod species were revealed in early 1990s. Changes of structure of copepod taxocenosis and its seasonal dynamics for period of 27 years were examined. Possible reasons of the community degradation, such as worsening of hydrobionts biotope quality caused by anthropogenic impact, long-term climatic fluctuations, influence of ctenophora M. leidyi are discussed. It is shown that in 2002 changes in the mesozooplankton community of the Sevastopol Bay became positive.
