Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the results of pressure reallocating research in a rock mass, which contains cham-bers of large cross-section influenced by compensatory cavi-ties in a kind of slot-hole kerfs. The analysis of sawn chalk-stones underground mining methods in the Crimea has shown that it is possible to increase the stability of developed mine workings by the way of compensatory cavities creation in a near-by located rock mass. The algorithm of task solving for mining geomechanics by methods of boundary elements was advanced. Program "Underground" has been created to apply above-mentioned method according to the modern level of knowledge. The parameters of compensatory cavities have been established by usage of numerical modeling method for different geological conditions in a kind of slot-hole kerfs. These parameters conform to the condition of sawn chalk-stones underground mining in Crimea.
