Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of a scientific task consisting in studying and an establishment of the nature of mechanisms of plastic and microplastic deformation in bulk metallic glasses. Mechanical properties of the bulk metallic glass are investigated. Experimental confirmations of existence of the mixed plastic deformation in bulk metallic glasses are received and processes causing the mixed plastic deformation in metallic glasses are investigated. The adequate description of processes of elastic and non-elastic plastic deformation in bulk metallic glasses is received.
