The object of research - metabolic processes that assure the maintain of oxidative homeostasis in case of pathological states and influence of environment disordering factors; the aim - evaluation of the state of processes of oxidative modification of proteins and lipids (OMPL) as well as enzymatic link of antioxidant system (AOS) for chronic cholecystitis patients, who took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at Chernobyl nuclear power plant, for substantiating approaches for the choice and use of remedies with antioxidant properties in a complex medical treatment; the methods - biochemical, clinical and statistical; novelty of investigation - for the first time the characteristic of changes of the state of AOS enzymatic link and processes of OMPL for chronic cholecystitis patients in a distant period after the effect of Chernobyl accident factors is given, variants of prooxidant-antioxidant imbalance are described and optimization ways for correcting detected disorders are founded; results - an approach for the complex evaluation of AOS and OMPL indices and correction of detected changes has been elaborated, a method of determining activation of processes of lipoperoxidation in human blood is proposed; degree of introduction - results are used at the clinical department of the Research Centre for Radiation Medicine AMS of Ukraine and at the chair of farm. chemistry of Kуiv med. academy postgrad. education; the field is medical biochemistry
